Strengthening Team Dynamics with DiSC

Client: Herlev hospital

In the high-pressure environment of a hospital anesthesiology department, a team of specialized nurses faced the challenge of enhancing collaboration and understanding amidst urgent tasks and varying schedules.

Already a well-functioning group, the team sought to deepen their awareness of each other’s working styles, particularly under pressure.

Solution:

I designed a half-day foundational workshop that introduced team members to the core principles of the Everything DiSC framework, helping them identify their individual profiles and recognize how these preferences influence behavior under stress.

Through interactive discussions and exercises, they shared feedback on their strengths and created a team wheel, visualizing how their combined dynamics contribute to the group’s success.

The workshop concluded with a reflective exercise where team members explored behaviors that emerge on tough days, shared vulnerabilities, and identified how their strengths could support each other during these moments. By fostering open dialogue and mutual understanding, the team left with actionable strategies to enhance collaboration and trust.
